Lafitte's Retreat is a beautifully furnished spacious 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bath custom home with stunning ocean views that comfortably sleeps 12.  We are approx. 250 steps from the beach in a family friendly small and private beach access only neighborhood. The Master suite upstairs has a private balcony and amazing ocean views.  Free WIFI, Direc TV and Netflix.  We spare no expense when it comes to providing accommodations to our guests.  All rooms have large smart TVs including the living room.  Downstairs party area is a great place to gather for a meal. Bonus: Fully furnished screened in porch area to hear and look at the ocean while drinking your morning coffee. Entertainment – There are plenty of things to do around the house to keep you occupied. The garage has  outdoor games, the grill, and maybe even some spare fishing equipment. There are lounge chairs, a picnic table, outdoor bar area, and other ways to relax located all around the house. There are board games and cards located in the small cabinet in the living room. There are quite a few movie channels available on the DirecTV Network (which works on all 4 TV’s), plus we keep a wide variety of movies prerecorded for your enjoyment (press LIST on the remote). You are welcome to record your own as well (family friendly of course). Finally, all of the TV’s in the house are “smart TV’s”, so you are welcome to play your own movies and games though your phone, computer, or tablet..

OUR HOUSE IS SMOKE-FREE. ZERO TOLERANCE.  YOU WILL PAY THE ENTIRE DEPOSIT IF WE FIND THERE IS SMOKING ON OUR PROPERTY.  We do not want our home or bedding smelling and guests are allergic, yes it lingers.

Although we do have WIFI, internet is not reliable in Crystal Beach

We do NOT rent out for prom, or large events.  A day party is a large event and will not be allowed.  You will be evicted and loose all money including deposit.

RESERVATION DEPOSIT
You must be 25 years or older to rent this property and the renter must be present at all times. Any reservation made under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money. A security deposit of $750 along with ½ of the rent is due at booking via credit card (Zelle, Paypal or Venmo only). Payment must be accompanied by a copy of your driver’s license and the signed rental agreement. The reservation date is not secured until the deposit, rental agreement and ½ the rent is received. Cleaning fee is a flat fee of $200.00.  There will be an excessive cleaning charge if necessary.  Unfortunately, we have had abuse to our new home.

The other half of the rental fee is required 15 days prior to start date of the rental.

Refund Policy:

50% refund if canceled at least 14 days before arrival date.
100% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.

OCCUPANCY LIMIT IS Twelve (12): THE MAXIMUM SLEEPING CAPACITY IS BASED ON THE HOME’S ABILITY TO SAFELY AND COMFORTABLY ACCOMMODATE OUR GUESTS. THE MAXIMUM CAPACITY OF 12 INCLUDES CHILDREN. GUEST EXCEEDING MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY WILL BE SUBJECT TO FORFEITURE OF DEPOSIT, RENTAL MONEY, AND WILL BE EVICTED.  ABSOLUTELY NO LARGE PARTIES.

AVOID DAMAGES

This is our home and it is a wonderful getaway. We hope that you enjoy it and have fun, but we also ask that you take care of it as if it were your own. Please leave the home in the same condition as you found it.
 

After we inspect the house for cleanliness/damages and find no issues, your security deposit will be returned promptly. You are responsible for any/all damages incurred by you or your guests, this also includes any damages that exceed your deposit. Any missing items will be deducted from the security deposit.
